Latest Update: Inauguration of the San Roque Sustainable Water Refilling Station Project
The Provincial Government of Bohol, through the Provincial Cooperative Development Office (PCDO), led the inauguration of the Water Refilling Station Project of the Sustainable Livelihood Workers’ Association of San Roque, Cortes, on December 18, 2025.
The project, amounting to ₱254,957, was funded under the Sustainable Livelihood Fund and aims to provide accessible and affordable potable water while supporting community-based livelihood initiatives.
The activity was attended by Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Handel Lagunay, representing Governor Aris Aumentado; Executive Assistant for Agriculture Gil Bongato; PCDO Head Ma. Conrada Fuentes; Cortes Vice Mayor Niño Lumanas; and Sangguniang Bayan Members Marjorie Becera and Felix Yana.
The initiative supports Bohol’s strategic governance agenda as the country’s first UNESCO Global Geopark, promoting inclusive development, citizen-centered services, and transparent, sustainable community projects.
