What is it for?
The page is a quick guide about how to use & update the PBR Schedule for Toronto GTA.
The PBR Schedule is a Google calendar showing scheduled PBRs in Toronto. The calendar is to make it easy for for IBO's to find PBRs and for the hosts to share the availability of PBR events with the team here in Toronto and in doing so to help out other fellow members. The success of the Toronto team depends on each and every member. It's up to you if and how you want to use it and if you decide to help others by contributing to the calendar. The PBR Schedule is based on a volunteer effort and suggestions or ideas for improvements are welcome.
How does it work
The schedule is easier to use than entering the individual appointment in the calendar. It uses Google calendar and a few workflows and forms. The service is almost free* (see below) and it's designed to be quick and easy to use. As always with all things that are free, there is no 100% guarantee it will always work, however, the service has been tested to work 99.99% time and because it is so simple, there is a good chance it will work most of the time just fine. For Hosts
When you host your PBR you have three options:
1) send an email ... (preferred and free)
2) send a text message (SMS)
3) submit a web form
All options are convenient and take a few seconds.
The email, text message or form are then converted to a Google Calendar event and the PBR is then added to the schedule. The schedule is public and accessible anywhere by anybody who has the link (works on mobile devices).
Sender has a complete control what information gets published. No registration required. All is needed are an email, SMS messaging app and the browser. To start & publish a new PBR event, please follow the steps.
To publish the PBR event in the schedule, please send an email (preferred) or text message in this format:

Adding any additional information is optional and it will be published in the calendar. Here is an example with a added phone number:

User viewing the calendar on a mobile device can then click the phone number and dial directly from the mobile browser (go to Google Calendar, click the Event >>more details).
Note: Only future events can be scheduled. Prepositions "at" and "in" should not be omitted.

What happens next
Once you send the email, text message or submit the form, the meeting will appear in the calendar. The emailed event will be there within a few minutes (at maximum one hour). The event sent by text message and submitted by the form will be in the calendar instantly.

The calendar is View-only. Editing is not possible directly in the calendar. If you made a mistake and need to change the event or delete, please send email for help (see below for details).

Cost
The email function is free, however the SMS text message and function costs $1 per month plus $0.015 per text message. The SMS text messaging service is included for now as a trial to see how it works. The web form also uses SMS text messaging service.

Privacy considerations
Search engines have been disabled for this page and the calendar, which means it is not supposed to appear in search results (Google, Bing), however, there is no guarantee. Therefore do not include any additional personally identifiable information anywhere in the email, text message or the web form if you don't want to publish it. The schedule is meant only to track the availability of PBRs and is not to meant to replace your calendar or your address book.

How to subscribe on your device or through your service.
If you use Gmail, you can easily subscribe to the calendar by clicking on the logo "+GOOGLE CALENDAR" in the bottom right corner. You will be required to login to your Gmail account to subscribe to the calendar. See the sreenshot below.

By subscribing to the calendar you will be able to VIEW the schedule on your device, Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar etc. The calendar will show separately from your existing private calendars.
