Privacy Policy for PB IoT

This Privacy Policy explains how PB IoT ("the App") collects, uses, stores, and protects user data when users access PrinceBot IoT and Smart Farm services through the App.

1. Information We Collect
The App may collect or process the following information, depending on how users use the App:
- Login token or authentication token used to sign in to the service.
- Display name, user ID, authentication type, and session status returned by the PrinceBot server.
- Session cookies and session information required to keep users signed in.
- Profile avatar selected from built-in avatar images inside the App.
- Project, dashboard, device, widget, alert rule, and notification history data created or configured by the user inside the App.
- Network request metadata required for communication with PrinceBot services, such as request headers and server responses.
The App does not intentionally collect precise location, contacts, SMS, call logs, or installed app lists.
2. How We Use Information
We use the collected information to:
- Authenticate users and maintain active sessions.
- Display user profile and account information.
- Display, update, or remove the user's selected built-in profile avatar.
- Load and manage smart farm projects, dashboards, devices, widgets, and alert rules.
- Show local notifications for alert rules and device events.
- Store user preferences and app state locally so the App can restore the user's session and settings.
- Maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability of the PrinceBot IoT service.
3. Data Storage and Security
The App communicates with PrinceBot services using HTTPS, including requests to `https://console.princebot.co.th`.
Some information is stored locally on the user's device, including session information, remembered login information, dashboard settings, project settings, alert rules, notification history, and selected profile avatar settings. Local storage is used so the App can restore the user's session and provide offline or cached app behavior.
Users should keep their device secure because local app data may remain on the device until the user logs out, clears app data, uninstalls the App, or requests deletion where applicable.
4. Profile Avatars
The App allows users to choose a profile avatar from built-in images provided inside the App. The App does not allow users to upload profile photos from the device gallery or capture profile photos using the device camera.
The App does not request access to the user's photo library or camera for profile avatar selection.
5. Notifications
The App may request notification permission to display alerts related to PB IoT rules, dashboard values, or device events Users can disable notifications at any time in the device settings.
6. Sharing of Information
User data is sent to PrinceBot services as needed to provide App functionality, including authentication, profile management, dashboards, project data, and alert-related features.
We do not sell user personal information.
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the App, or the PrinceBot service.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Local data stored on the user's device may remain until the user logs out, clears app data, uninstalls the App, or the App removes cached data during normal operation.
Server-side data, such as account information, selected profile avatar settings, and service records, is retained as long as necessary to provide the PrinceBot IoT service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security.

After receiving a deletion request, we will verify the request and delete or anonymize applicable personal data unless retention is required by law, security, fraud prevention, accounting, or other legitimate business purposes.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users who are authorized to access PrinceBot IoT or Smart Farm services. The App is not directed to children. If we learn that personal information from a child has been collected without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
9. Third-Party Services and SDKs
The App uses Flutter and related Flutter packages to provide app functionality, including local storage, notifications, and opening external links. These components are used to operate App features and do not change the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.
If external services are added in the future, such as analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or third-party cloud services, this Privacy Policy should be updated before those services are released.
10. International Data Transfers
Information may be processed on servers located in Thailand or other locations where PrinceBot service infrastructure or service providers operate. By using the App, users understand that their information may be processed in these locations.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date above and publish the revised Privacy Policy. Continued use of the App after the policy is updated means the user acknowledges the updated policy.
