We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal information is handled in a safe and responsible manner. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it is shared, and your rights regarding your data.

When you register an account, we may collect:

To help you manage invoices and customer relationships, you may store:
Customer names
Phone numbers
Email addresses
Physical addresses
Contacts Access: To make it easier to add customers, Payvo may request permission to access your device's contact list. We only access and upload the specific contact(s) you explicitly select to auto-fill customer details within the app. We do not continuously sync, upload, or store your entire address book on our servers.
We store information you create within the app, including:
Invoices
Payment records
Invoice statuses (paid/unpaid/pending) Note: Payvo does not process payments directly and does not store credit card or banking details.
We may automatically collect:
Device type and operating system
Push notification tokens
Crash reports and diagnostic data
Anonymous usage analytics
This data helps us improve app performance and reliability.
We use collected information to:
Create and manage user accounts
Generate and store invoices
Manage customer records
Track payment status
Send automated invoice reminders
Deliver important app or account notifications via push notifications, email, or integrated services (like WhatsApp)

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right or consent to store and process any customer data (including imported contacts) you enter into Payvo.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or customer data.
We may share limited data with trusted third-party service providers only as necessary to operate the app:
Supabase – Secure database, backend services, and user authentication
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) – Reliable push notification delivery
Sentry – Error tracking and crash reporting
These providers are contractually required to handle data securely and strictly for service functionality.
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
However, no method of online transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services:
Account, invoice, and customer data: Retained while your account is active.
Crash logs and diagnostic data: Typically retained for up to 90 days.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
In-App Deletion: Navigate to Settings → Delete Account

Upon verification, we will delete your data from active systems within 30 days, unless retention is strictly required by law.
Payvo is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we discover that a child has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the app and on our website, along with an updated effective date.
