Privacy Policy
PaySave is an expense tracking app that helps users record expenses, manage budgets, scan receipts, and optionally back up data.
Information we collect or process
PaySave may store and process the following information:
- Expense records, including amount, date, category, wallet, payment method, and notes
- Receipt images selected by the user or located in folders explicitly selected by the user
- Text extracted from receipt images using OCR
- Budget, wallet, category, and app settings
- Google account information only when the user chooses to sign in or use Google Drive backup
- Purchase status information from Google Play Billing for Premium features
How we use information
We use this information to:
- Create and manage expense records
- Scan receipt images and extract transaction information
- Detect duplicate receipts
- Show spending summaries, budgets, and statistics
- Provide backup and restore features when enabled by the user
- Manage Premium feature access
Data storage
Most app data is stored locally on the user’s device. If the user enables Google Drive backup, backup files are stored in the user’s own Google Drive app data folder. PaySave does not sell user data.
Receipt images
Receipt images are used only for receipt scanning, OCR, duplicate detection, and expense record creation. PaySave does not use receipt images for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.
Data sharing
PaySave does not sell personal data. PaySave does not share receipt images or expense records with third parties for advertising or marketing. Some services may be used only when necessary for app functionality, such as Google Sign-In, Google Drive backup, Google Play Billing, and Android system services.
User control
Users can delete expense records, remove receipt images, disable backup, disconnect Google Drive access, and delete app data from within the app or device settings.
Children
PaySave is not intended for children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
