Troubleshooting
• App can’t access the camera
• Open Settings → Privacy → Camera and enable access for Pawsight.
• App can’t access Photos or saving fails
• Open Settings → Privacy → Photos and allow access for Pawsight.
• If you chose “Selected Photos,” add the desired photos/videos to the allowed set.
• Converted video won’t save
• Ensure you have enough free storage.
• Try a shorter clip or lower resolution video.
• Restart your device and try again.
• Video looks rotated or has black bars
• The app preserves orientation and fits the video to the target size. Black bars appear when aspect ratios differ.
• Colors look “off”
• That’s expected: Pawsight simulates approximate cat/dog color perception, which differs from human vision.
• Crashes or freezes
• Make sure you’re on the latest version from the App Store.
• Try force-closing and reopening the app.
• If the issue persists, email us with steps to reproduce and your device details.

• What does Pawsight do?
Pawsight shows how the world might look to cats and dogs, using on‑device color and blur approximations.
• Does the app upload my photos or videos?
No. Processing happens on your device. We don’t upload your media to our servers.
• Can I convert videos and keep the original audio?
Yes. The app reads the original audio and writes it into the converted video.
• Why is conversion time longer for some clips?
Higher resolution and longer duration increase processing time. Try shorter clips for faster results.
• Where is the converted file saved?
You can save to Photos from the result screen or share/export via the share button.
• Is the simulation scientifically exact?
No. It’s an approximation to illustrate differences in animal vision.

• Shorter clips convert faster and use less storage.
• Keep your device charged and avoid switching apps during long conversions.
