Pawse is a cozy, cat-guided calm break app designed to help you feel better in 1–3 minutes. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect (if any), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Pawse does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email address, profile photo, or account identifiers to use the app.
Pawse stores certain information on your device so the app can work properly, such as:
your timer/break preferences and settings
your in-app progress (e.g., Purrls balance, streaks, unlocks)
customization choices (e.g., themes/backgrounds)
app settings
This information is not uploaded to our servers.
To improve stability and fix bugs, Pawse collects limited diagnostic information if the app crashes. This may include:
crash logs and error reports
device type and operating system version
app version and general app state at the time of a crash
We use this information only for app stability and debugging. We do not use crash diagnostics to identify you.
During your first use of the app, we may ask why you’re using Pawse (for example: “I’m stressed,” “Can’t sleep,” “Need a break,” “Just curious”). This information is:
stored locally on your device
used to personalize your first experience
never shared with third parties
Pawse offers optional in-app purchases, including Pawse Plus.
When you purchase Pawse Plus through the app:
purchases and subscription status are handled by the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
we do not receive your payment details (such as card information)
If you reinstall the app or change devices, you can restore purchases through the store’s standard restore mechanisms (where available).
Pawse does not show third-party ads and does not collect advertising identifiers (AAID/IDFA) for advertising purposes.
We use information only to:
provide app functionality on your device
improve stability by diagnosing and fixing crashes
personalize your first experience (if you answer the onboarding prompt)
We do not sell your personal information.
Pawse may use third-party services for crash reporting to help us diagnose stability issues. These services may process crash logs and basic device/OS information for diagnostic purposes only.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information.
We may share limited diagnostic data with service providers that help us operate the app (for example, crash reporting), and only for app functionality and stability. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Depending on your location, you may have rights such as access, deletion, or objection to processing.
Because Pawse does not require accounts and stores most information locally, you can remove your local Pawse data by:
deleting the app from your device, and/or
clearing the app’s storage where available (Android)
To ask a privacy question or request help, contact us at pawsestudios@gmail.com.
Pawse is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
Local app data: stored on your device until you delete the app or clear storage
Crash diagnostics: retained only as long as needed to investigate and fix stability issues, subject to the crash reporting provider’s retention practices
We take reasonable steps to protect information we handle. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If crash reporting is enabled, crash diagnostics may be processed using global infrastructure by third-party providers. These providers may process data in countries other than your own.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and post the updated policy in the app and/or on our product page.

By using Pawse, you consent to this Privacy Policy and our collection and use of information as described. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
