Hey everyone! Paws of Glenwood Animal Rescue has an amazing opportunity & we need your help! We are partnering with Jordan’s Way to have our biggest fundraiser EVER on Tuesday, September 30th from 10-1pm! We need as many people to participate as we can to help us reach our goal!
Think 'Jerry Lewis Telethon' meets a Nickalodeon Episode!!
Volunteers will be participating in the event by helping to network the fundraiser by texting friends & family, calling contacts, and posting on their own social media pages (fundraiser link will be provided to everyone at the event) asking people to donate to help reach certain goals. Remember to BRING YOUR CELL PHONES (Fully Charged & chargers if needed) & a change of clothes!

Volunteers will also face 'challenges' where if a certain amount of money isn't raised, then 'something' happens (Pie Faces, Slime Buckets, etc) All challenge participation is voluntary & no one is made to do anything they don't want to do....however, it's not hard to get caught up in all the excitement & have fun!
Each activity or challenge during the event is based on the idea of raising a certain amount of money in a specified time frame or they have a consequence. For example, volunteers will be split into 2 Teams for the 'Bail Out Wars' where each Team will be put 'in jail.' Each Team will have 30 minutes to raise more money than the other Team or 'something' happens. This is when you’ll be texting & calling everyone & anyone you know to help ‘Save You’!
It’s going to be fun like you’ve NEVER had before for a GREAT cause!
Volunteers are asked to be there at 830am. *Remember!! Bring your Cell Phones & Chargers & let your friends & family know you’re going to need their help!

On May 29th, 2025, PAWS of Glenwood joined forces with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and many other rescue organizations in an urgent mission to save over 150 animals from unimaginable neglect. These innocent dogs were found in heart-wrenching conditions — many of them fighting for their lives due to the severe mistreatment and disregard they suffered.
The sights and smells we witnessed were devastating. But in the midst of such heartbreak, we also witnessed the incredible resilience of these animals and the unwavering dedication of our volunteers and partners. Our team sprang into action, providing emergency medical care, comfort, and a safe place to begin healing.
At PAWS of Glenwood, countless loving dogs are waiting to meet their forever families. Some have been with us for many years, patiently holding onto hope, while others are just beginning their journey. Each of our dogs is fully vetted, cherished, and cared for until the day they go home. When you adopt, you’re not only giving a dog a second chance—you’re joining our PAWS family, where lifelong love and support are always part of the promise.
