I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics at Stony Brook University, and am affiliated with the Institute for Advanced Computational Science (IACS), the Center of Excellence in Wireless and Information Technology (CEWIT), and the AI Innovation Institute (AI3).

From September 2025 to August 2026, I served as a Visiting Professor at Bloomberg AI in Finance, working on agentic modeling, reinforcement learning, and machine learning for quantitative finance. My research focuses on statistical learning and machine learning, with applications in finance, engineering, and medicine.

I am also Vice President of the Society of Quantitative Analysts (SQA), lead organizer of Agenthon 2026, a NeurIPS Competition and Workshop on Verifiable AI in Quantitative Finance, and co-organizer of the annual Stony Brook AMS Workshop on Recent Trends in Machine Learning and Risk Management. Recent research has been recognized at ICLR, AISTATS, ICAIF, CVPR, and WACV.
