Pavitra Muralidhar

I am an incoming assistant professor in the Department of Ecology & Evolution at the University of Chicago. I'm currently recruiting PhD students and postdocs -please get in touch if you feel our research interests might align!

Previously, I was a Center for Population Biology and NSF Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Davis. I completed my PhD in the Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University. 

My research program broadly aims to understand the causes and consequences of sexual reproduction across biological scales, using a combination of theoretical and computational approaches.  Please see the publications tab for an overview of my previous work.
