About my research

My research interests lie primarily in housing, fiscal policy, and education. My recent publications include an analysis of housing taxation and its impact on economic growth, as well as a study on the relationship between public and private inputs in K-12 education. In addition to building on my previous work, I am currently working on analyzing the effect of government spending on GDP and consumption.

Published Research:

House Prices and Consumption in the United States (Real Estate Economics)

Housing Taxation and Economic Growth: Analysis of a Balanced-Growth Model with Residential Capital (The B.E. Journal of Macroeconomics)

Estimating the relationship between Public and Private Inputs for K-12 Education: Evidence from Longitudinal Microdata (Review of Economic Analysis)

Media Engagement

I frequently share my expertise with the media. I've been quoted in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the Gwinnett Daily Post, discussing topics such as inflation, job growth, and Federal Reserve policies. I also appeared on Atlanta Now News to talk about the resumption of federal student loan payments.
