1. Information Collection and Use

Personal Data

If you use the optional cloud synchronization feature, we collect your email address via Firebase Authentication (Google LLC) to create and secure your account.

User-Generated Content (Your Events & Holidays)

To ensure absolute privacy, all custom events, titles, and descriptions created by you are encrypted directly on your device using industry-standard encryption protocols before being synchronized to the cloud (Firebase Firestore).

• We do not have access to your encryption keys.

• We cannot read, monitor, or access the content of your custom holidays.

• Database administrators and third-party infrastructure providers only see encrypted, unreadable data.

Log Data and Analytics

We use logging tools and Firebase Crashlytics to monitor application performance and stability. When an error occurs, we collect diagnostic logs which may include device type, operating system version, app configuration, and the time of the error. These logs contain no personally identifiable information (PII) or unencrypted user content.

2. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you in accordance with their own policies:

• Google Play Services (App distribution and licensing)

• Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Crashlytics) (Account sync, encrypted storage, and stability monitoring)

3. Data Security and Zero-Knowledge Architecture

We implement a "Zero-Knowledge" architecture for user-generated content. We value your trust in using Povod, which is why your private data is encrypted client-side. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security against device-level compromises.

4. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
