Rate theory for continuous systems - Grzegorz Kwiatkowski

Rate theory is considered for continuous micromagnetic systems with full inclusion of internal degrees of freedom in one, two and three spatial dimensions. The emerging limitations of the theory are examined and explained using examples including coarse-graining methods. A new formulation of the problem based on quantisation of excitations is proposed and implemented. Results are discussed in comparison with classic rate theories.
