My family and I have lived in Stone Bank for nearly 14 years. We chose this area for it's excellent schools. All 4 of my children are currently in or have passed through 10 years of schooling at Stone Bank.
Working at our school for the past 7 years has given me a unique insight to the needs of the building, the staff, and the students. I strive every day to do what is best for each student and to keep our amazing school on a path of growth and success. I am dedicated to the needs of our staff and students and am always ready to help in any capacity. I believe that our smaller class sizes and knowledgable, trusting relationships between students and staff, that last through the years, are some of our biggest assets and should always be a priority at Stone Bank. I also believe that our school's many opportunities for learning and growth outside of the classroom through the many arts, sports, and activities offered differentiates us in a positive way.

My Beliefs:
Every Child deserves access to a Good Education:
benefits not only the student but society, by creating a community member who makes a positive contribution to the community and the economy
consists of not only passing on knowledge, but teaching students how to think, explore and discover for themselves and become life-long learners
includes teaching students how to work and communicate with others, how to be kind and accepting, how to manage one's own emotions, and how to give and receive constructive criticism
reaches beyond the classroom and offers many opportunities for students to become well rounded in many areas including arts, sports and activities, and to learn a variety of additional skills
A good elementary and middle school educations prepares students to be successful and competitive in high school and beyond and this is more readily achieved through clear communication regarding curriculum between Stone Bank and Arrowhead
It is the School Board's responsibility to ensure a quality, DPI compliant education for every student, to retain high quality staff to accomplish this goal, to maintain the building and grounds for a safe and effective learning environment, and to be fiscally responsible to the community who supports our school
There shoould be a community feel between the school board, the administration, the staff, the families, and the disrtict residents, where everyone feels that they are able to openly communicate on any issue
A good school has a positive affect on the entire community, bringing people together and reflecting positively on property values
Our tax payer dollars are cyclical. Whether going directly into the workforce, on to a tech school, to a four-year college, or beyond, a well educated student becomes a productive member of society; a boon rather than a burden to their community, and they in turn support the education of the next generation of students
