PauseLock may access the following information on your device:
app usage information, such as which apps were opened and approximate usage time
the list of installed apps, so you can choose which apps to protect
local PauseLock settings, such as protected apps, pause history, and focus progress
Accessibility events showing when your chosen apps open, so PauseLock can show a breathing pause
PauseLock does not read screen content, messages, passwords, keystrokes, notifications, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or location.
PauseLock uses this information only to:
show usage insights
rank apps by usage time
let you choose protected apps
show a breathing pause before chosen apps open
track local progress such as avoided opens and streaks
PauseLock does not sell, share, or transmit your personal data to third parties.
PauseLock does not currently use accounts, cloud sync, advertising, analytics, or external servers.
PauseLock stores app data locally on your device.
Data stays on your device unless you choose to delete the app or clear app data.
You can delete PauseLock data by:
opening PauseLock settings and using the delete data option, if available
clearing app data in Android Settings
uninstalling the app
PauseLock may ask for:
Usage Access, to show local app usage insights and ranking
Accessibility permission, to detect when chosen apps open and show a pause overlay
Notifications permission, only for fallback alerts or app guidance
Vibration permission, for haptic feedback
Accessibility is used only for chosen-app detection and the pause overlay. PauseLock does not read or collect screen content.
PauseLock is designed to keep data on your device. Because the app does not currently transmit your data to a server, no personal app usage data is sent externally by PauseLock.
PauseLock is intended for adult users and is not directed at children.
This privacy policy may be updated if PauseLock changes how it handles data. The latest version will be available at this page.
