I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Universidad de Chile. I hold a postdoct position at Center for Mathematical Modeling, Universidad de Chile. I have got my PhD in mathematics/informatics from Universidad de Santiago de Chile/Université Paris Diderot - Paris 7.

I am originally from Santiago, the capital city of Chile. I have got my diploma in mechanical engineering, as well as my MSc in Mathematics degree, from Universidad de Chile. 

Research interests: Symbolic dynamics, Word combinatorics, Ergodic Theory, Group Theory, Group actions on the Cantor set.
