Privacy Policy — PatternForge
Effective date: [February 5, 2026]
PatternForge is designed to work without collecting your personal information. Images you select are processed on your device to generate color palettes and cross-stitch patterns.
We do not collect, store, sell, or share personal data. We do not operate servers that receive your photos or pattern outputs.
When you choose a photo, the app accesses your photo library only after you grant permission.
Selected photos are used only to generate the palette and pattern on your device.
We do not upload your photos to any external server.
When you export a PNG/PDF or share a file, that action is initiated by you.
Exported files are saved locally to your device or shared using iOS sharing options you choose.
We do not use third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs that track you across apps and websites.
If you purchase an upgrade (e.g., “Pro Unlock”), purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive your payment information. Apple may provide us with non-identifying purchase status for entitlement validation.
The app stores only the minimum needed for functionality (for example, your selected settings or whether Pro is unlocked) on your device using iOS local storage. You can remove this data by deleting the app.
PatternForge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You can revoke photo access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
You can delete exported files from your Files app or Photos app.
You can delete all app data by uninstalling the app.
If we change this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date and post the revised policy at the same URL.
