I am a economist with primary interests in immigration, labor, and health economics. From the 2026-2027 academic year, I will be joining the Masaryk University, Regional Economics Department and Health Economics and Innovation Institute as a postdoctoral fellow. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2025-2026 with a Ph.D. in Economics. Prior, I obtained my MS in Economics from Drexel University in 2018 and my BS in Economics and Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012.
I've focused on the effects of (international and internal) immigration on health indicators and labor markets in receiving locations in my current work. I use causal inference methods and spatial analysis to examine the effects of topics such as immigration policy, aging, and noise pollution on health and labor markets. Moving forward, I am particularly interested in developing ideas related to climate- and conflict-induced forced migration,
Outside of my research interests, I love music, play guitar (poorly), paint, and have provided (mediocre) defensive cover at back and defensive midfield for intramural soccer teams.
