Patrick Walsh, CEO, is an entrepreneur, investment specialist, and business executive based in Palm Beach County, Florida. He founded PW Partners in 2012, focusing on creating long-term value for small- and mid-cap companies through disciplined operational strategy and capital allocation. His work in investment management has focused on the restaurant industry, and his professional insights have been featured in publications such as Forbes, Barron’s, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and the Los Angeles Times.

As founder and chief executive of PW Partners in Jupiter, Florida, Patrick oversees capital allocation, enterprise finance, mergers and acquisitions, and broader corporate strategy initiatives. The firm is recognized for its focus on operational improvement and strategic decision-making across its portfolio companies. His experience spans hedge funds, equities, and investment banking, with work involving organizations such as TMPL, Palm Beach Sports Club, Town Sports International, and Famous Dave’s of America. Ernst & Young named him Entrepreneur Of The Year in 2018.

In addition to his responsibilities at PW Partners, Patrick has also led operations at Empire Holdings and Investments, a diversified holding company headquartered in Palm Beach County. After joining the company in 2020, he managed a corporate structure designed to support flexible investing across multiple industries. Earlier in his career, he worked as an investment analyst at Prudential Capital Group and Prudential Securities, focusing on commercial property and publicly traded real estate investment trusts, before later serving as a vice president in investment banking at Deutsche Bank.

Patrick's professional background also includes long-short equity work at a hedge fund in Illinois and leadership responsibilities as a managing partner at PWK Partners in Chicago, before relocating to Florida to establish PW Partners. Beyond executive leadership, he has held board and committee roles with companies including BJ’s Restaurants, Del Taco Restaurants, and Famous Dave’s of America. He also served as chairman of the board at Town Sports International and was recognized in Nation’s Restaurant News’ 2015 Power List.

Patrick Walsh, CEO, studied economics at Wesleyan University, where he competed in baseball and football before transferring to Boston College following a back injury. He graduated with honors in accountancy and later completed additional investment studies through Columbia University’s Executive Value Investing Program under Professor Bruce Greenwald. He also maintains a Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute. Outside of business, he enjoys literature, fitness, cooking, and travel while living and working in Jupiter, Florida.
