This Privacy Policy explains how the PathRise iOS application ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use it. By installing or using the App you agree to the practices described below.
## 1. Information we do not collect
PathRise is an offline-first, on-device trip-preparation app. The App does not require you to create an account, sign in, provide an email address, provide a phone number, or submit any other personal identifier in order to use its core functionality.
We do not collect, store on our servers, or sell:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or postal address.
- Precise or approximate location data.
- Contacts, calendars, photos, or files from your device beyond what you explicitly enter into the App or choose to share through system features.
- Health, biometric, government identification, payment card, or financial account data.
- Your trips, road-stage floors, checklist items, transport and address notes, travel phrases, backup plans, or quick notes.
## 2. Information stored on your device
All content you create inside the App is stored locally on your device using the platform's standard storage APIs (Core Data and the system user-defaults store). This may include your trips and travel dates, road-stage floors and their readiness status, checklist items, manual address and transport notes with your own transfer-time estimates, travel phrases, delay and backup plans, quick notes, pinned next steps, and app preferences such as theme and haptics.
This information does not leave your device unless you explicitly choose to share or export it through system features such as the share sheet or copying exported text.
If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is removed together with the App.
## 3. Sharing and export
The App may let you share a trip summary, a travel phrase, or a backup plan as plain text through native sharing features. Sharing is always initiated by you. The App does not automatically upload, transmit, synchronize, or back up your records to any server.
Once you share content through system features or another app, that content is handled according to the policies and settings of the receiving service.
## 4. Diagnostic information
The App may use Apple's standard crash reporting and diagnostic services. This information is processed by Apple in accordance with its privacy policy and is not directly accessible to us in a personally identifiable form.
## 5. Third-party services
The current version of the App does not embed third-party advertising networks, analytics providers, social media trackers, cloud sync services, or backend services that collect personal data.
If a future version introduces any third-party service, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly before that version is released.
## 6. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App stores everything locally and collects no data, no personal information is transmitted to us in any case. If you have questions, please contact us using the support details below.
## 7. Your rights
Because all of your content is stored locally on your device, you remain in full control of it at all times. You can review, edit, export, or delete your trips, floors, checklist items, notes, phrases, plans, and related records directly inside the App, and you can remove everything at once using "Clear all data" in Settings. Deleting the App from your device permanently removes all locally stored content associated with it.
## 8. Security
We rely on the security mechanisms provided by iOS, including device encryption and app sandboxing, to protect data stored by the App on your device. No method of electronic storage is 100 percent secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
## 9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Effective date" and will be available within the App or at the URL provided in the App Store listing. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
