The author begins by talking about words that are confusing and helps children through the challenges of the English language. Each chapter includes the friendly dragon as a helper to the reader. Robinson uses a no-nonsense approach to teaching middle-school children how to recognize words that look and sound the same. She uses the words in sentences to aid in understanding. This is a great learning book that I would recommend to any of my grandchildren as a study tool to improve their grammar skills in school.
