Problem Statement
"How can we minimize the gap on knowledge & career opportunity for undergraduate students from relatively ‘bad’ universities (specifically in Indonesia, outside of Java) that lack learning support and resources for their future career paths? "
The problem statement for our team is related to SDG number 4, Quality Education. Like we already know, education is the foundation of everything, especially for the new generation. If they really put concern into this matter, it has a powerful and impactful impact to the country.
That's why Education is an important part but also information or opportunity to know about job or internship or scholarship sometimes is hard to be found especially students from "bad" university.
Solutions
Create a website, we mainly offering mentorship program and list of information about scholarships, competitions, and internships.
Desirability : Effective employment program can facilitate school-to-work transition for youth and inclusive growth across provinces in Indonesia.
Feasibility : A sustainable model of labour project to companies that can provide desirable employees to them.
Viability : CSR & Big companies value to give back won't change in the near time esp. with SDGs
Key Partners
Business Model
This is our revenue model, under which Pass The Light will have a paid mentoring program at an affordable cost. This program may be regulated in our second or third year. Then we will have a partnership with big enterprises so that we can hold or be a platform for them to hold competitions or mentorships, which are part of their advantages because it's kind of their opportunity to promote their company. The third one is headhunting for good potential employees. This term is related to the second one, where new generations who participate or one of our members have those potential skills even though they don't come from a famous university such as Indonesia's top public university. Lastly, we will make a booth camp.
