The Hong Kong Medical Council Licensing Exam, also known as the LMCHK or HKMLE, is the exam that doctors trained outside of Hong Kong have to take before they get a chance to work in Hong Kong. More information on this exam can be found at the official website.

It is a notoriously tough exam, with a passing rate of about 10% to 15%. The standards are high, and there is a lack of materials and guidance out there for candidates sitting for the exam.

If you're a candidate planning to sit this exam, and you aren't sure what to expect, how to prepare, or what to study - I can help. My students have a much higher passing rate at about 60-80%, but it still boils down to individual effort - I can't take the exam for you.

I passed the HKMLE back in 2013-2014. Preparing for the exam was a lonely process, and I was very fortunate to meet some like-minded people who helped me tremendously to prepare for the exam. In the process, I have accumulated a lot of studying and reading material that helped me to pass. I have helped others pass the exam - and now I would like to help you too.
