This Privacy Policy explains how AI Passport Photo & Resume Portrait Maker ("App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about our data practices, especially regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

When you use our App to generate a professional portrait, we collect the following personal data:
Facial Images (Photos): We collect the photograph or "selfie" that you choose to upload from your photo gallery or take using your device's camera.
Usage Data: Anonymous and aggregated data regarding how you interact with the App (e.g., buttons clicked, app crashes) to improve our services.
Purchase Data: Transactional data handled securely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store (e.g., subscription status). We do not collect or store your credit card information.
Directly from You: We only access your camera or photo library after you explicitly grant the App permission to do so through your device's operating system dialogs. You voluntarily select the specific image to be processed.
Automatically: We collect anonymous Usage Data automatically as you navigate the App.
We use the data we collect solely for the following purposes:
To Provide the Core Service: We use your uploaded photo exclusively to generate a professional, AI-enhanced portrait (e.g., adding a suit, changing the background) based on your chosen style.
Service Improvement: We use anonymous Usage Data to fix bugs and enhance the user experience.
Strict Limitations on Use:
We DO NOT use your photos to train, build, or improve our own AI models.
We DO NOT use your facial data for facial recognition, biometric identification, or tracking.
We DO NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any advertisers or data brokers.
To perform the complex AI image transformations required by the App, we must share your uploaded photo with a specialized third-party cloud AI provider.
We explicitly share your uploaded photograph with:
Replicate, Inc. ("Replicate"): Replicate is our third-party AI infrastructure provider. Your photo is securely transmitted to Replicate's servers over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS) to be processed by the image-to-image AI model.
We have verified that Replicate provides the same or equal protection of your personal data as stated in this Privacy Policy.
Replicate acts strictly as a data processor.
Your photos are processed transiently in memory.
Replicate does not use your uploaded photos to train their foundational AI models.
Replicate permanently deletes your processed images from their servers shortly after the generation process is completed.
Before any photo is transmitted to our servers or to Replicate, the App will present you with an explicit Consent Modal. This modal will clearly state that your photo will be sent to our third-party partner (Replicate) for processing. We will only transmit your data if you tap "I Agree" or "Accept."
Photos: We do not permanently store your original or generated photos on our servers. Once the AI generation process is complete and the final image is returned to your device, the image data is deleted from our cloud memory and Replicate’s processing queues.
Local Storage: The generated portraits are saved strictly on your device's local storage (Gallery). If you delete the App, all locally saved app data is erased. You have complete control over deleting these images from your device.
We implement robust security measures to protect your data. All communication between your device, our backend services, and Replicate occurs over secure, encrypted protocols (HTTPS/TLS). While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take immediate action to delete such data.
Depending on your jurisdiction (such as under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to:
Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
Request deletion of your personal data.
Withdraw your consent for data processing at any time (by discontinuing use of the App and deleting it from your device).
