Pasifika First Fridays is a Salt Lake City based art cooperative dedicated to celebrating Pacific Islander artists and art every first Friday of the month. The monthly festival aims to unite Utah community members and give Pacific Islander artists the chance to perform, sell, or showcase their art.
As a natural extrovert, Malia’s personality drives her need to support and connect artists across Utah. She is passionate about helping Pacific Islander artists realize their potential and talents through media and marketing. Born in Hawaii and raised in Utah, Malia is an avid shoe collector, tennis enthusiast, foodie, and concert junkie. Malia is also a HUGE fan of Beyonce and managed to make it on one of the Queen Bee’s Instagram post (ask her about it when you meet her). She married her best friend and together they are raising their five beautiful children in Sandy, UT. Family is everything to her and we are overjoyed to have her as part to the Pasifika First Fridays family.
Pasifika First Fridays is pleased to welcome and introduce Mallory Palelei, Community Outreach Director. Originally from American Samoa, Mallory Palelei is a dynamic addition to the team.
