Hi, I am Parth Patel, a computer science engineer with experience working in various fields like software development, computer networks, and machine learning. I received my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani.
Of late, I have been interested in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, mostly working on Computer Vision projects. I most recently worked as a Research Intern at Media And Data Science Research Lab, Adobe Systems, Noida. My work at Adobe focussed on improving latent space semantics of image-generation GANs (Generative Adversarial Networks) by incorporating self-supervised learning in the standard GAN training procedure. From a business viewpoint, a better latent space organization in GANs will help to improve semantic image editing performance, a key component of Adobe products such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom.
Overall, I am excited by the recent surge in the use of AI for everyday-life applications and the fact that AI has the potential to change the way we live our lives.
Apart from my interest in computer science, I am also an avid cricket follower. I strongly believe in the idea of life-long learning - that one must continuously look up to new things in life and strive to learn them.
