Dr. Parminder Singh is presently working as Professor and Head Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana (India). He is B.Tech., M.Tech. and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering. He has more than 18 years of teaching experience. He is member Board of Studies (BOS) for Computer Science & Engineering; Information Technology, Computer Applications of different universities and autonomous institutes.

His field of interest is Natural Language Processing, particularly Text-to-Speech Synthesis. He has developed first Text-to Speech synthesis systems for the Punjabi language. He has guided 36 M.Tech. thesis and has published about 40 research papers in international and national journals and conferences. He is reviewer of research papers of different reputed journals and conferences.
