ParkSpot helps you save where you parked, remember parking details, and navigate back to your car. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
Information ParkSpot Uses
Location: ParkSpot uses your location only when you choose to save your parking spot or guide yourself back to your car. Your parking location is used to show the saved spot, distance, and map route.
Photos: If you add a photo of your parking spot, the photo is stored on your device. ParkSpot does not upload your parking photos to our servers.
Parking details: Notes, floor/level, timer, meter information, costs, favorites, and history are stored locally on your device so the app can show your saved parking sessions.
Notifications: If you enable reminders, ParkSpot uses local notifications to alert you before a meter or parking timer expires.
Purchases: ParkSpot may offer premium features through Apple in-app purchases. Purchase processing is handled by Apple. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
How Information Is Used
We use app data to provide core features, including saving your parking spot, showing your car on the map, guiding you back, managing reminders, showing favorites, and displaying parking history.
Data Sharing
ParkSpot does not sell your personal information. We do not share your saved parking spots, photos, notes, or history with advertisers.
Third-Party Services
ParkSpot uses Apple system services such as Maps, Location Services, Notifications, StoreKit, and related iOS frameworks. Your use of Apple services is also governed by Apple's privacy practices.
Data Storage and Deletion
Most ParkSpot data is stored locally on your device. You can delete saved spots, history entries, photos, or the app itself to remove locally stored app data from your device.
Children's Privacy
ParkSpot is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help address it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
