Dear Park Place Neighbors,
Our Park Place Homeowners Association of East Hillsborough, Inc. (HOA) is vested with the operation of our community, acting through its Board of Directors. It is the obligation of the HOA to ensure that each Property Owner / Occupant in our community is adhering to the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (DCCR). This document (which we were all provided) is a legally binding document and requires our attention and observance.
Complaints have been received and the HOA has observed several and repeated violations of our “Storage of Vehicles” requirements – specifically, owners/occupants parking on the street, on the grass, and in common areas (please see the screen shot from our DCCR below).
ARTICLE VII – General Covenants and Restrictions:
Section 7:
Please remember, these violations can be a safety hazard in the community as traffic attempts to navigate around these parked vehicles, and the beauty of our community is degraded by parking on our lawns and in common areas. The prohibition on street parking does not apply to temporary guests and special events parking (we all seem to be pretty good at letting our neighbors know when we are hosting special events).
The HOA will begin “citing” these type violations for immediate correction. Failure to correct the violation with 24 hours (or repeat violations after 24 hours) will result in an HOA board member authorizing the vehicle to be towed at the owner’s expense.
Heads-up Park Place! It sounds like some landscaping updates are underway. Once the trees are trimmed back and cleared from the wall, the entrance might look a bit sparse temporarily—but it could also be a great opportunity to refresh the space or highlight architectural features that were previously hidden.
Please do not hesitate to contact the HOA board if you have any questions or concerns about this matter.
Thank you for your understanding and compliance.
