ParkingDrop respects your privacy.
ParkingDrop does not require users to create an account and does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other directly identifying information.
Location Data
ParkingDrop uses precise location data to provide its core features, including:
• Showing nearby shared parking spots
• Saving the location of your parked car
• Sharing a parking spot with nearby drivers
• Sending a reminder when you approach your saved car location
When a parking spot is shared, its location and availability information are stored temporarily using Firebase Firestore so that nearby users can see it. This information is not linked to your name or personal identity.
Notifications
ParkingDrop may send local notifications related to saved car locations and parking spot sharing. Notification permission can be changed at any time from the device settings.
Third-Party Services
ParkingDrop uses Firebase services provided by Google to support anonymous authentication and parking spot data storage.
Data Retention
Shared parking spot information is temporary and is removed when it expires, is cancelled, or is reported as unavailable.
Tracking and Advertising
ParkingDrop does not use your data for advertising and does not track users across apps or websites.
