You are reading the privacy terms for Park Sort: Car Types (Package Name: com.parksort.cartypes.game), a casual game from Adele Qiu on Google Play. "We," "us," and "our" below all stand for the developer. Skim through — it is not long, and it tells you what you need to know about how data factors into the app.
Park Sort: Car Types is built for casual fun. There is nothing to sign into and no questionnaire to fill out — the game loads and you are in. Your real name, contact number, or home address are never a prerequisite for gameplay.
Before anything else: your Android device puts you in charge of your advertising ID. If you open Settings and navigate to Google > Ads, you will find options to reset or erase that identifier, or to switch off interest-based ads entirely. What you change there carries over to every app on the device — this one included.
As the app operates, a small set of data categories may be in play:
Device fingerprints: Advertising ID, manufacturer, OS release, and display specs. These are touched by the third-party code blocks mentioned in Section E — we do not reach in and grab them ourselves.
Saved state: Which levels you have cleared, whether sound is on, and similar choices that sit only on your device.
Reliability signals: Automated crash and error logs that help us patch problems and keep the app from breaking down.
The data described above has three roles:
Keeping the app free through advertising.
Reading aggregate patterns so we can spot what works and what needs work.
Hunting down bugs and fixing them.
None of this is about figuring out who you are or cataloging your habits as an individual.
We also want to be straightforward on one point: data is not a product for us. We do not peddle, barter, or release it for our own gain. The lone exception is that the third-party blocks in the next section may transmit certain device parameters as part of their normal operation.
The app carries two kinds of embedded third-party components:
Ad networks: Platforms such as Google AdMob that read your advertising ID and basic device attributes to push and measure ad content.
Analytics engines: Services like Google Analytics for Firebase that compile big-picture usage stats so we can tell what is clicking with players and what is not.
These providers are their own bosses when it comes to data. Their policies — not ours — dictate what they do with it:
Google AdMob — https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543
Google Analytics for Firebase — https://firebase.google.com/policies/analytics
How they operate internally is outside the scope of what we can oversee.
Your gameplay data — progress, settings, everything — stays put on your device. Uninstall the app and that data is gone. Anything that makes its way to the ad or analytics providers lives by their retention rules. We lock down what we can on our end, but it would be dishonest to claim that any digital system is bulletproof.
General audience is the target here. The app is not crafted for children under 13, and we do not go looking for data from minors. A parent or guardian who suspects otherwise should ping us at the address in Section J — we will not brush it off.
Policies are not set in stone. If we adjust this one, the date up top moves to reflect the change, and the updated text replaces what you are reading now. Keeping the app on your device after a revision means the new terms work for you.
That covers the essentials. If a section left you scratching your head, or if you have a concern we did not anticipate, the door is open — see below.
