Well done, Team Tamworth!
An email has been sent to all Tamworth Borough Councillors staing that Tamworth Borough Council will undertake a Community Governance Review.
This means that the petition to request a review as I posted about the other day to protect Tamworth’s identity and assets may not be needed. I am going to keep it open until the CGR acutally commences - so please do encourage people to sign it.
We are one step closer to parishing Tamworth, but are not there yet!
After my exchange of emails with the Leader of the Council over the weekend, coupled with the sheer number of signatures assigned to the petition in such a short space of time has done the trick.
People power again wins over!
