We do not collect any personal data directly from children. All child data must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.
Payment Data.
We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you choose to make purchases, such as your payment instrument number, and the security code associated with your payment instrument. ParenAI app uses Apple Pay and Google Play Store for processing payments and subscriptions. All payment transactions are handled securely by these platforms; we do not store or process payment card details directly. RevenueCat is used only to manage subscription status and receipts — no payment details are stored or processed by our app or RevenueCat.

Google DPA
As part of our data processing activities, we have entered into a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Google to ensure that any data processed through the Gemini API complies with applicable privacy laws, including GDPR. This agreement governs how Google processes your data to ensure secure and compliant use of AI-powered recommendations.
Data Retention
The personal and child data you provide will be retained as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the services, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
To provide AI-powered chat responses and personalized recommendations, we transmit certain user-provided information to third-party artificial intelligence service providers.
When you use the AI chat or receive AI-generated recommendations, the following data may be transmitted to our AI service provider:
Messages you submit within the chat
Child profile information necessary to generate personalized responses (such as age, developmental stage, preferences, and optional profile details you provide)
Technical information required to process the request (such as device type and anonymized request metadata)
