Like most members of Gen Z, a Nintendo Wii was my first gaming console. And while when I was younger, other kids moved on to Xbox 360s and PS3s, I never jumped off the Nintendo train. I went from Wii to WiiU to Switch and have been anxiously waiting for information about the Switch 2 since the First Look trailer dropped back in January.Â
Now set to release on June 5, 2025, the hype is real for the Switch 2, which will retail at $450 (yikes!).
