• Local Storage: Your paraphrase history and preferences are stored locally on your device.
• No User Accounts: The app does not require account creation or login.
• No Advertising Tracking: The app does not track users across apps or websites.

Because data is stored locally, the developer does not have access to your personal texts.

4. External Services and Third-Party Processing

To provide AI-powered paraphrasing, the application uses third-party services.

Google Gemini AI

When you request a paraphrase, the text you provide may be transmitted securely to Google’s Generative AI services for processing.

Important notes:

• Only the text necessary to generate the paraphrase is transmitted.
• No personal identity information such as your name, email, or account data is sent.
• The data is used solely to generate the requested response.

These services maintain their own privacy and security standards.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.

Your data may only be disclosed in limited circumstances:

• To comply with legal obligations or valid legal requests
• To protect the security and integrity of the application

Otherwise, your information remains private.

6. Usage Data and Analytics

To improve the performance and reliability of the application, limited anonymous usage data may be collected.

• Number of paraphrasing requests or feature usage

7. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Paraphrase may offer optional premium features through in-app purchases or subscriptions.

All purchases are processed through Apple’s App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms and conditions.

• Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID.
• Payment is charged to your Apple account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

8. Children’s Privacy

Paraphrase is intended for use by individuals aged 13 and older.

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove the information.

9. iCloud Backup

If iCloud backup is enabled on your device, certain application data stored locally may be included in your iCloud backups in accordance with Apple’s iCloud policies.

You can manage iCloud backups through your device settings.

10. Your Rights and Data Control

You maintain full control over your information.

You may:

• Access and review your paraphrase history within the app
• Delete your stored history at any time
• Remove all data by uninstalling the application

Because most information is stored locally, removing the app deletes the associated data from your device.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect improvements or legal requirements.

Any changes will be published within the application or associated website. Continued use of the app after updates indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
