Issue 6 - GM Advice

Published without comment by aratos on 6/19/2019

Issue 7 - Alternate Alpha Complexes

After a long hiatus, "Welcome to Jackobot Heaven" is back in action! This week, we archived the fansite Alternate Alpha Complexes.---Silent, 9/3/2019

EDIT (9/03/2019): Normally, our issues tend to be 20-30 pages long, but due to the fact that this fansite contains a lot of content, this issue contains ~80 pages. This "mega-issue" may indeed be hard to read in one sitting, but you can always treat it as good reference material.

Unhistorical Issue: BUG Sector

BUG Sector was an unreleased PARANOIA adventure for PARANOIA 5th edition, recently recovered and partly annotated by volunteers with MST3K-style commentary. However, the mission itself wasn't all that good, even when you add in the annotations, and so the project was abandoned and essentially it's been rotting in my Google Drive since June 2019.

For the sake of historical preservation, and only for historical preservation, here's a link to the Google Docs where you can see the mission (and the annotations) for yourself.

Warning: Some of the mission content is NSFW.

Recommendation: If you're interested in mining this issue for ideas, I recommend reading all the way up to the end of Section 0.0 (the Introduction to the mission), and then creating your own version of BUG Sector based only on the info provided.---Silent, 4/05/2020

Issue 8 - The Bureaucracy

This week, we bring you 35 pages of content, dealing with our favorite and well-loved paper-pushers. This issue contains:

  • Three hosejobs/obstacles to throw in any mission

  • Two forms for new Troubleshooters to fill out

  • PLC Directive #104, designed to efficiently document events

  • A secret society designed to fight bureaucracy

  • An alternate Alpha Complex that has became even more bureaucratized than normal

  • Two missions that have Troubleshooters navigate the bureaucratic red tape to save the complex from itself.
