A very durable and hard wood. Can be worked with machines as well as hand tools but tends to have a blunting effect of cutting edges. Teak is exceptionally good for outdoor furniture, boat building, spear guns, oars and cabinet making.
Normally stock 4/4 thick lumber.
Specific Gravity is around .65
