Also called Courbaril, Jatoba is a very hard wood that can be difficult to work. Pre-boring is necessary for any screwing or nailing work. Wood darkens to a dark reddish color with exposure to sun light which can be very pleasing. Typically used in furniture and cabinetry, flooring, boat building, and tool handles.
Normally stock 8/4 and 13/16th thick lumber.
