Paradise Found is a 2-bedroom B&B suite located on a beautiful lakefront property in Bobcaygeon.
For several years we have been hosting guests from all over the world in our five cottages, also located on the property, but now we are excited to be offering year-round accommodations on the private upper floor of our home.
In 2020, we added Paradise Found Bed & Breakfast as an additional choice where you are now able to find options for packages that include hearty home cooked breakfasts to make your stay even more memorable and more relaxing. Or, you can always stick to the basics - you can't go wrong at Paradise Found. Peace and tranquility await you on your getaway regardless which package you choose!
The Suite
Our B&B suite offers you the tranquility you've been seeking. The lake and sunset views at Paradise Found are breathtaking and will remain with you for years to come.
The full suite has two bedrooms, a private* washroom, a private* sitting area with picture windows overlooking the lake, and a kitchenette. The suite is located on the upper floor of the home with private access, where you can enjoy complete privacy from the other shared living areas on the main floor.
We live in our home year round, so please be aware that we will be occupying the main floor of our home at all times and since we love to entertain, we might be hosting our own family and friends during your stay as well.
Amenities
You will have access to all the resort amenities, which includes the use of three paddle boats, a kayak as well as a canoe.
You will also have access to a dock for sunbathing, fishing, or enjoying a swim in the lake. Access to the fire pit at the main house. Stairs outside to private separate entrance from a walk-out deck right beside the picturesque living room, with access to a deck overlooking the lake - perfect for relaxing and taking in the fresh air.
Area Attractions
There's a beautiful walk/bike trail connected to the property that leads right into the quaint village of Bobcaygeon where you will find endless opportunities for all ages. The town has a beautiful public beach area perfect for summer days, as well as shopping attractions and restaurants to satisfy any culinary preference.
Fall and winter are gorgeous seasons to enjoy the natural scenery in the Bobcaygeon area, but please note that during low season in Bobcaygeon shopping and dining options are more limited. However, the equally charming Lindsay is only a 30-minute drive from our location, and the larger city of Peterborough is only 45 minutes away from us. Both have plenty of options for shopping and dining year-round.
