In a circling crowd a clamor of cheers chants like a broken record straight from the golden age of gladiators.
Pumping through adrenaline from the strikes and punches of one to another.
The spotlight shines ever so bright, blaring and highlighting the sweat on the skins of the fighters.
Strike! Once, twice, thrice — “Gah!” as the Goliath tumbles to his knees, surrendering defeat to the champion who grips a baseball bat and a might of 6 aeons.
A gorgeous and bruised gray haired woman.
“Woah…” mouth agape and amazed she watches the trailblazer raise her fist in the air for victory.
She’s seen her before in the same train she boarded to get here but never really interacted or talked directly.
The girl has been betting money on her since Stelle got inside the fight club, never really having thought participate in betting than simply watching but this was a nice change of pace, her money doubles over time too.
“Agh…she’s too strong i thought surely the grizzly mecha type II can take her down.” groaned the researcher from the earlier encounter in the cafe. “You serious? That trailblazer defeated Captain Gepard and his men in a fight!” one citizen beside him exclaimed. “Not to mention the savior of the planet.”
”Stripes’ — as the researcher now called her — smiles cheekily holding her palm out to him to give her the money from their bet, the researcher did so reluctantly.
“It’s like you underestimate the trailblaze.” her fingers shift through the credits, counting her earnings with glee.
It was quite funny how just earlier before the fight in the rink became interesting the researcher was talking bitterly, even lowly of the fight club as nothing but a money-making machine through violence, not a good thing to promote but now moping in the loss of his bets as if it did matter to him.
He changes like glass to colors.
Our star of todays’ fight club stepped down from the rink to rest, approaching a blue haired bloke to collect her rewards, wiping her sweat off with a towel and making her way out of the building. Coming swiftly as she goes.
Now that Stripes thinks about it she’s seen that blue haired man before, somewhere where the fools come to drink.
