President of the Senate CaseyLeFaye, has not exactly had the most adventurous time leading the chamber to start the term. Senator CaseyLeFaye has quickly run the table, going from first-time senator to President of the Senate in a matter of days.
So far, the results have not been there. The senate has only entertained 3 votes, that being the standing orders and the nominations for the Clerk and Press Assistant. That might change soon however.
The House of Representatives is currently voting on 6 bills, with 5 of them almost being a sure thing to move to the Senate for consideration.
So what does CaseyLeFaye hope to achieve in the upcoming session?
“There has been a bit of discussion inside of the Senate about the plot crisis and Vroomba potentially being nominated to DCT Secretary, but I feel a lot of talks are happening behind closed doors about other topics.” The Senator said in a statement.
They are also working to implement a system to get the Senate more engaged with bills, and the Senator has been personally working on a bill which would make accountability more reachable.
CaseyLeFaye knows there is roadblocks ahead that must be navigated. Namely, that the house leans Left and the Senate leans Right, so it could cause potential obstacles to passing key legislation.
A Paper News request to Speaker of the House Bezzergeezer for the same information regarding the House’s roadmap for the session has gone unanswered.
