I’m a life-long learner who is involved in enhancing other people’s learning experiences through my adjunct professor role. Twenty-five years after graduating with my Masters degree, I decided to start my PhD degree in “Management – Leadership and Organizational Change” at Walden University in 2007. I achieved the Master of Computer Science from Mississippi State University in 1986, and Bachelor of Science in Agriculture/Entomology from Chung-Hsing University in Taichung, Taiwan in 1982.
I experienced great learning while serving as Founder’s District leaders and wish to continue that learning within Toastmasters program on a more global scope while serving as the International Director.
Currently and for the last 18 years, as a Sr. Project Manager at Honda North America, a multi-national company in auto manufacturing industry, I have extensive experience in upholding the mission and values of the company, overseeing multi-million dollar budgets for projects and operations, aligning projects to strategic objectives, and creating and executing department policies for IT governance and regulatory compliance.
As a volunteer leader of Project Management institute Los Angeles Chapter (PMI-LA), I have served as a member of the Board and a trustee of the chapter for the last 9 years, overseeing the strategic plan, budget, and policies and procedures.
