Dr. Pankaj Kumar is currently working as Professor & Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Shri Ramswaroop Group of Professional Colleges, Lucknow. He has more than 21 years of teaching and research experience.

He holds MCA, M.Tech, and Ph.D. degrees, and his areas of expertise include High-Performance Computing and Computational Linguistics. Dr. Kumar has published over 75 research papers in reputed national and international journals, as well as in IEEE, Springer, and ACM-sponsored conference proceedings. He also has two published patents and one granted copyright.

Dr. Kumar is a Senior Member of IEEE, a Professional Member of ACM, and a Life Member of CSI, IETE, ISTE, IAENG, ISOC, and IACSIT. He has served as a Management Committee Member of CSI and IETE, Lucknow (2016–2018), and as a Member of the Nomination Committee of the CSI Lucknow Chapter (2021–22). At present, he continues to serve as a Management Committee Member of CSI and IETE, Lucknow.

He has contributed as a reviewer for international journals including Springer and IEEE, and as a member of the editorial board of various international journals. He has also actively participated in several international conferences as a Reviewer, Technical Committee Member, and Co-Chair.

Under his supervision, five Ph.D. scholars are currently enrolled, and five Ph.D. theses along with twelve M.Tech theses have already been successfully awarded.
