So, since I was a kid I had numerous dreams of a boy. In the dreams, we were always romantically involved, and it always felt like something unique, magical...
One particular aspect of this dream was that this boy would be almost the same age as I was in real life.
Meaning: he would grow up at the same pace as me. His appearance would vary a bit from dream to dream and idk if it was bc he was growing up (which makes sense since our features change) or if it was just my brain trying to fit a pattern I would always remember.
Bc I can't remember his face at all, it's kinda fuzzy in my mind after I wake up. But inside the dream, I see him very well and in the dream I know it's a dream and I think: he's different from last time (yup, it's complicated).
I used to have more frequent dreams about him when I was younger. Since I became an adult, I can barely remember my dreams so if I dream of him I don't remember at all. But the last dream I had with him, he was rich-rich, driving a red, no top, sportive car (probably a Lamborghini) and taking me to a fancy restaurant in a 5* hotel. Anyways, today I remembered that, and I thought of a soulmates AU idea that would go like this:
ππππππ: Member X lives a pretty miserable life, he is luckless. When he has a prospect of something good, be it in his professional life, in his personal life with friends or lovers, or even with travels and things he wants to buy, something bad happens that ruins everything.
Meanwhile, Member Y has everything he has ever wanted. Money, success, good friends, and good relationships that even when ended, it's on good terms.
The only thing they share in common is dreams from one another since they were kids.
They are fragmented souls and while Member X lives with the bad parts, the yang, Member Y has the good part, the Yin.
Now, the only part that I still haven't figured out, is the way they meet. It could be clichΓ©... But how would they know they were each other's soulmates? Bc in this universe, soulmates are just a cute concept, nothing really real and proofed.
