Tashie Macapagal

A native of Edmonton, Tashie Macapagal where she played on Edmonton area club teams and spent two summers playing on Team Alberta. Tashie played her CIAU (now USport) career with the University of Alberta Pandas playing from 1996 to 2001. She was an integral part of the Pandas' run of six consecutive national championships winning four National Championships in 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000.

Tashie has coached at the high school, club, and provincial team level. She began coaching with the Pandas Volleyball Club in 2016 as an assistant coach and has since coached various camps and clinics for the club. She recently head coached the Team Alberta North that competed in the Canada Cup earning a bronze medal.

She holds a Bachelor of Physical Education and is a certified NCCP Advanced Development (formerly Level II) Coach. When she's not coaching, Tashie works full time as a PMP certified Project Manager at the UofA or vacationing in Huntington Beach, California.
