Have you ever tried to run a part and wondered why it is fixtured a certain way. Why does the fixture not locate and orient the part with critical finished features and datums in mind? I enjoy design work and as an operator, machinist, even as an engineer have asked this exact question. Here at PKI I will strive to design a fixture that is reliable, robust, and considers critical part features.
