As a board member, I will be committed to ensuring that all decisions we make are aligned with fostering academic achievement and personal growth, whatever that may look like for each individual student.  As a teacher, I made a promise to each of my students to believe in them, support them, and help them grow.  I've seen time and time again that when students know they're believed in, and when they're met with consistent positive encourgement, they achieve great things.  If a proposal or discussion that comes before the board doesn't support student success, then it doesn't merit our time or attention. Our focus must remain firmly on what matters most-the students
