About Me

My name is Jennifer Palombit and I'm an art teacher at Avondale High School. This is my 8th year teaching art and my 6th year at Avondale. I teach Art Foundation, Metals 1 & 2, Ceramics1 & 2, Advanced 2D Art, and AP Art & Design. I am also the National Art Honor Society (NAHS) Sponsor and the Fine Arts Department Leader, as well as a member of the Oakland Schools Fine Arts Council.

I have been married for 24 years and have 2 sons, Anthony who graduated in 2020 and Alex who will graduate in 2023. We have lived in the Avondale district for 18 years and proud to be a yellow jacket. Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family - camping, biking, swimming, kayaking, watching movies, and sports. I also like to do home improvement projects, garden, and of course make my own art to sell.
