Allow us to tell you a little bit about our simple paradise. Palm Beach Island has been a part of the local community since the late 1978! Conveniently located off I-16 just outside of Swainsboro, GA, Palm Beach Island rests on a three acre, all natural spring - which means fresh, new water is pumped in daily! We are so much more than just a water park. We would like to remind everyone, that no matter how old you grow in years, the memories shared here at "the Beach" will last forever.

WHAT PALM BEACH ISLAND HAS TO OFFER YOU AND YOUR FAMILY:

On the shallow end of "the Beach", the water is anywhere from half a foot to 3 feet deep. Once you swim around towards and past the high dive, the water level drops to around ten to twelve feet deep. Remember to always swim responsibly and children must be accompanied by an adult.

Here at Palm Beach Island, there are two slides suitable for children (free of use) and a mini island that is perfect for building sand castles. So bring your beach toys and prepare to have a blast!

Over on the deeper side we offer a high diving board and a 100-ft water slide that is accessible by purchasing a wristband for an additional fee of $5 for the day. Because Palm Beach Island is located on a natural spring, the water is COLD but well worth the fun!

***No children under the age of 5 should ride the water slide and everyone must swim and/or slide at their own risk.***

Palm Beach Island offers a concession stand that is located in the middle of the beach for your convenience. New to the 2017 summer season, we will feature an eclectic menu! Great food at great prices that includes the old favorites like hand-pattied 100% ground beef hamburgers, freshly grilled hot dogs, french fries, home-brewed sweet tea, soft drinks and sweets, but also weekend specials that will vary, so be sure to bring your appetite!

We have communal picnic tables and a few grills (be sure to bring some tin foil!) located around the beach. Coolers are permitted but NO GLASS is allowed anywhere on the property. His and her restrooms are located near the concession building. No shower is available, but there is an outdoor water faucet between the restrooms where you may rinse off your feet before leaving.

CAMPING:

NO CAMPING IS ALLOWED AT PALM BEACH ISLAND. No one is admitted on the property before 10 a.m. and all guests must exit the property BEFORE 6 p.m. due to insurance regulations.

FEES: Parking is free. Park admission is only $5 per person and children three and under are ALWAYS FREE!!!

HOURS AND DISCOUNTS:

We are open EVERY DAY from 10-6 sharp. We do NOT allow guests to "pay extra" to "stay later" than 6 p.m. You may reserve the PBI Pavilion under the concession stand with four picnic tables for the entire day for a low rate of $50, prepaid and non-refundable IN ADVANCE. Call or email us for this reservation. Please, also, do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions. All other park areas are "first come, first serve" and cannot be reserved or held for anyone.

Palm Beach Island, it's owner, manager, and/or employees are NOT RESPONSIBLE for any accidents or vehicular damage on the property. We will not tolerate the use of illegal substances, belligerence, foul language, theft, altercations, unruly behavior, or disruptions. As a general rule, Palm Beach Island may (and will) ask anyone who breaks any of our rules to leave the property.
