Privacy Built Into the Design Workspace
PaletteBrief helps designers build thoughtful color palettes, check text contrast, save visual decisions, and keep practical project notes organized in one quiet workspace. The app works without registration, and the design information you enter remains on your device.
Information We Do Not Collect
PaletteBrief does not collect personal information, device identifiers, usage statistics, analytics, advertising data, precise location, contacts, photos, payment information, color palettes, contrast results, or project notes. You do not need to create an account, sign in, or provide a user profile.
Your Design Work Stays Local
Saved colors, palette combinations, foreground and background selections, contrast checks, approval decisions, and project notes are stored locally on your device. We cannot access, view, retrieve, or use this information.
On-Device Contrast Tools
Contrast calculations, readability previews, and palette summaries are generated within the app from information stored on your device. Your design records are not uploaded for remote processing. PaletteBrief supports design review but does not guarantee compliance with every accessibility standard, platform requirement, or project specification. Final implementation decisions remain with the designer.
No Third-Party Services
PaletteBrief does not include third-party analytics, advertising networks, tracking technologies, social logins, cloud accounts, or external software development kits that collect data. We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose user information because we do not collect it.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your locally stored palettes, checks, decisions, and notes remain on your device until you edit or delete them, clear the app's data, or uninstall PaletteBrief. Depending on your iCloud and device backup settings, Apple may include app data in a backup. Those backups are controlled by you and Apple and are not accessible to us.
Security
Keeping design records on-device limits unnecessary exposure. You are responsible for protecting access to your device through the security features available in iOS.
Children's Privacy
PaletteBrief is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children or any other users.
Your Privacy Choices
Because PaletteBrief does not collect or retain personal data on our systems, there is no personal information for us to access, correct, export, or delete. You control your palettes, contrast results, project notes, and device backup settings.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if PaletteBrief features or legal requirements change. Any revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
